Robert Half is partnering with a fast-growing logistics and supply chain company seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Manager to lead core financial operations. This position plays a vital role in overseeing accounting functions including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and budget support.

Key Responsibilities Include:

+ Oversee all accounting operations including month-end close, general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.

+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

+ Prepare and analyze financial statements, income statements, and balance sheets.

+ Manage accounts payable/receivable processes, invoice approvals, and vendor communications.

+ Reconcile credit card and online purchase accounts, and process expense reimbursements.

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis efforts.

+ Maintain fixed asset ledgers, record depreciation, and oversee vendor contracts.

+ Collaborate with operations and other departments to resolve discrepancies and align financial practices.

+ Assist with internal/external audits and ensure accurate financial documentation.

+ Identify risks and opportunities for continuous improvement across financial operations.

+ Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and business information.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $115,000-$125,000. Benefits offered with this position include Medical, Dental and Vision benefits with an option for HSA, 401k with a match, profit sharing bonuses, 2 weeks of PTO, 1 week of sick time, and 14 paid holidays.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

+ 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a management or supervisory role.

+ CPA or CMA certification required.

+ Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis).

+ Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics GP, Business Central, or similar).

+ Strong understanding of GAAP, fixed assets, and financial reporting.

+ Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
