Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Billing Clerk to join our team in Monmouth County, New Jersey. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for services while maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities:

• Review service work orders to verify the accuracy of labor hours, materials used, and additional charges.

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on work orders, service agreements, and contract terms.

• Process billing submissions, track outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue accounts to support collections efforts.

• Address client billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and foster positive communication with customers.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices, work orders, and related documentation.

• Analyze billing data to identify trends and improve overall accuracy and efficiency.

• Collaborate with service technicians, project managers, and internal teams to ensure seamless billing operations and timely issue resolution.

Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in billing, preferably within construction services or building automation industries.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in financial data entry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.

• Proficiency in billing or accounting software such as Viewpoint, Sage, or similar tools.

• Strong problem-solving abilities to handle billing discrepancies effectively.

• Efficient time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
