Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer/Engineer with a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of secure development methodologies. This strategic role focuses on building compliance and visibility solutions for modern technology environments, including workforce systems, datacenters, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will lead the development of internal tools, define technical requirements, and serve as a subject matter expert in visibility and compliance across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop applications that integrate with security and compliance toolsets.

+ Contribute to the design and implementation of internal tools that support compliance monitoring and operational visibility.

+ Reverse engineer or develop applications that interact with Linux and Windows APIs.

+ Write and maintain code in Ruby, C/C++, and Python.

+ Build and deploy solutions using open-source technologies and cloud platforms.

+ Monitor application performance and develop enhancements to meet evolving business needs.

+ Customize CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab; manage version control and release processes.

+ Translate epics and user stories into technical requirements and deliverables.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of shared objectives.

Requirements

Preferred Experience:

+ Agile development team experience.

+ Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible).

+ Understanding of memory protection mechanisms (e.g., ASLR, DEP).

+ Experience with debugging and code tracing.

+ Leadership experience mentoring junior or mid-level developers.

+ Ability to analyze vulnerabilities in complex applications.

+ Proficiency in navigating and understanding unfamiliar codebases.

+ Experience with Web APIs and cloud platforms such as Azure.

+ Familiarity with Zero Trust architectures and best practices.

+ Knowledge of modern SDLC practices, Agile methodologies, and tools like Jira and GitHub.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

+ Proven experience in software development, compliance tooling, or visibility engineering.
