Description

We are seeking a Senior Risk Analyst Contractor to support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives across a wide range of programs and projects. This role plays a key part in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in risk analysis, governance, and internal controls, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

+ Support enterprise-wide risk management efforts across business units and vendor engagements.

+ Maintain and update risk records and documentation within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system.

+ Represent the Risk function in project teams to ensure appropriate risk oversight on key initiatives.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop risk-informed solutions.

+ Conduct interviews with business units to document processes, risks, and controls.

+ Assist in the development and maintenance of ERM policies and procedures.

+ Support internal controls documentation, including risk assessments and control narratives.

+ Facilitate the full risk management lifecycle: identification, analysis, response, reporting, monitoring, and certification.

+ Contribute to third-party risk management processes in collaboration with Procurement, Legal, and Information Security.

+ Partner with the Information Security Office to support the organization’s security program.

+ Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including updates to the Business Impact Analysis (BIA).

Requirements

Required Qualifications

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, governance, risk, and compliance.

+ Strong knowledge of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation methodologies.

+ Familiarity with business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and business impact analysis.

+ Experience with risk and security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, COBIT, or COSO ERM.

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.

+ Experience drafting policies, procedures, and process documentation.

+ Ability to interpret and analyze risk documentation, including flowcharts and process maps.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

+ Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CRMA.

+ Experience in the financial services industry.

+ Knowledge of internal controls in finance and cloud/application security environments.
