    We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an Internal Auditor within our Internal Audit team to help support our business.     As an Internal Auditor you will have the opportunity to assist in the timely execution of the annual audit plan. The team you will be working with is open-minded, and values customer satisfaction and problem-solving . This is an entry-level position that reports directly to our Internal Audit Manager at our Corporate office in Carthage, MO.

     

    So, what will you be doing as an Internal Auditor?

     

    + Perform financial, operational and integrated audits and internal control reviews

    + Review the suitability of internal control design

    + Conduct audit testing and identify reportable issues

    + Determine compliance with policies and procedures

    + Assist with audits of SOX 404 key control testing across the enterprise

    + Draft and communicate audit findings to management

    To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

    + Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance

    + Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills

    + Strong critical thinker with analytical mindset

    + Excellent organizational skills with focus on quality, detail, and accuracy

    + Ability to adapt to change quickly, multi-task, and thrive in a team environment

    + Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, and integrity

    + Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 30%

    Things we consider a plus:

    + Professional certification (CIA, CISA, CFE, CMA, CPA)

    + Advanced degree (MBA, Master of Accountancy)

    + Foreign languages (Spanish, German, Chinese)

    + Previous internal audit or manufacturing experience
