• Lead Process Engineer

    Jacobs (Conshohocken, PA)


    Support life science industry projects from concept to detailed design engineering. Scope includes evaluation and review of process budgets, project schedules, and engineering tasks for design basis, process flow and instrument diagrams. Lead and mentor team of Jr. Engineers. Work cross functionally with vendors, contractors, and with other Jacobs’s disciplines, such as architecture, structure, instrumentation & control, electrical, HVAC, piping to successfully execute the projects. Support business development with new proposals and projects as needed. Participate in process hazard reviews.

     

    Telecommuting/ Hybrid schedule is allowed.

    REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related field and 5 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation.

    SPECIFIC SKILLS:

    Expertise/knowledge of:

    SAP to create and update Bills of Materials, Product Codes, Planned Quantities and Yields, Machine Time. TrackWise Documentation System for all cGMP Documents. Relevant Unit Operations: Distillations, Reactions, Filtrations, Drying, Phase Separations, etc. Hazardous Waste Management Systems (RCRA). Process Safety Management (PSM). Participate in PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) and complete PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review) action items.
