Position Summary

The Case management associate is accountable to leadership to support the day to day operations of the STAR Kids clinical team. This position has no supervisory oversight of staff and is a support role. The position requires an explicit understanding of the workflows, policies, and procedures.

Fundamental Components/Expectations

+ Provide support to the clinical staff in real time

+ Provide support to members and/or families with daily management of the STAR Kids hotlines

+ Provide STAR Kids Education and Value Added Benefits outreach calls

+ Will review and have a solid understanding of Policies and Procedures and support these

+ Will provide support and education related to problem solving

+ Communicate effectively with a variety of audiences

+ Effective collaboration with various levels of peers, leaders, and cross-functional partners to maintain quality metrics and understand/influence opportunities for process improvement

+ Organized and able to prioritize tasks

+ Collect and write up success stories as needed

+ Support a positive work environment that promotes the concept of teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

+ 1-2 years of managed care experience or related experience

+ Requires proficiency with computer skills which includes navigating multiple systems and keyboarding

+ Excel experience preferred

+ Time efficient and highly organized

+ Exceptional communication skills

Education

High School Diploma or Associates Degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $35.29

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
