Position Description:

•CGI has an immediate need for a Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our hybrid team in Reston.

This role is pivotal in bridging business needs with technical solutions by gathering and analyzing user requirements, translating them into actionable database and ETL specifications, and ensuring data integrity through rigorous testing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, strong SQL skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless data integration and issue resolution.​

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong command of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its application in data projects.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, especially for ETL and database development.

• Proficiency in SQL and other database querying tools.

• Experience creating source-to-target mappings and detailed documentation of business processes.

• Skilled in test planning and execution, with familiarity in tools like HP Quality Center or Mercury Quality Center.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities without compromising quality or timelines.

• Professional certifications in data analysis, database management, or software development are a plus.

• 8+ years of experience in software development or data analysis roles, with a strong track record of handling complex, large-scale projects.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $121,200.00.
