Summary:
The Senior Director, Global Access Strategy Integration, Neuroscience will be responsible for combining US and Global access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies to formulate cohesive, overarching, all-market approaches for in-line, lifecycle, and late development assets within the neuroscience portfolio. The Senior Director will report to the Neuroscience Market Access (NeuroMAx) VP leading the access strategy and initiatives incorporated into the Global to Local (G2L) commercialization strategy, the long-term financial plan (LTFP) management, and the overall portfolio access strategy. This role will act as the primary strategic and executional conduit between the US and Global NeuroMAx access strategy leads, and be responsible for ensuring worldwide strategic alignment, identification of synergistic opportunities across markets and brands, and identification of cross-market risks that could negatively impact NeuroMAx-wide effectiveness, efficiency and gross-to-net (GTN) viability.
The Senior Director will be responsible for developing integrated market access input to inform above and across-brand Neuroscience portfolio strategy and prioritization decisions. This role is pivotal in identifying, incorporating, and developing solution-oriented recommendations for cross-market opportunities and risks into NeuroMAx strategic development and execution, including global go-to-market implementations. He/she will lead this process through cross functional engagement, coordination and collaboration with Market Access leaders in Global and US Access Strategy, Pricing, and HEOR.
The position is cross functional in nature and is part of a highly matrixed organization. In addition to Neuroscience Market Access colleagues, the Senior Director will partner with leaders of Commercial, Medical, BI&T, Global Policy and Clinical Development to optimize the BMS Neuroscience portfolio in an increasingly challenging and dynamic access environment. He/she will also need to develop and maintain external contacts with relevant payer, provider, policy, and channel customers.
Responsibilities
+ Lead the synchronization of US and Global access strategies to develop of the above-brand, cross-market access launch strategy (L-24) for near-term life-cycle indications and new brands, in alignment with the Global Commercialization G2L and CSRE frameworks.
+ Develop and lead the neuroscience portfolio access and pricing strategy in support of the commercialization portfolio strategy for current budget, strategic plan, and LTFP time horizons.
+ Identify, analyze and incorporate asset and/or indication-specific policy, pricing and access opportunities/risks to shape strategic approaches that optimize a given brand across all relevant markets while balancing the health of the full portfolio.
+ Monitor, identify and intervene, as needed, on behalf of the organization in market-specific decision making processes that may have a deleterious impact on larger markets and/or the organization as a whole.
+ Work closely with US and Global policy / government affairs colleagues to monitor, assess, anticipate and educate the broader organization on positive and negative implications of pending and in-force policies, both formal and informal , and lead cross-functional efforts in the development of related mitigation steps to support the optimization of the NeuroMAx portfolio and its respective brands.
+ Collaborate closely with US Access Strategy, Global Launch Strategy, Pricing, Access Strategy, Finance, and BI&T to assess and manage both near term (GTN) and longer term (LTFP) access and pricing trade-off decisions. Lead the LTFP process for NeuroMAx, ensuring accuracy for all pricing and access inputs. Develop processes and cross-functional involvement and alignment to improve LTFP management.
+ Actively participate in asset specific P&MA recommendations tied to asset governance decisions (ID3, ID4, DEX, etc) to ensure alignment with portfolio opportunities.
+ Create and manage the initial NeuroMAx-wide budget, including operating expenses and headcount resources, needed to support access launch strategy across all markets.
+ Partner with Global Commercial and GMAx EA/BD lead on the external opportunity landscape to assess, identify, and fulfill needs within the portfolio.
+ Serve as key member of the NeuroMAx leadership team, partnering closely with Global Launch Strategy, US Access Strategy, and HEOR.
Qualifications:
+ Undergraduate degree required, an advanced degree (MBA and/or PhD) degree highly desired
+ Minimum of 8+ years' experience with a strong track record in Market Access in a Global/WW or large country market. Pricing experience required. HEOR experience a plus.
+ Experience in evaluating asset value related to price and reimbursement requirements within key markets
+ Proven ability to anticipate and translate market access dynamics to appropriately inform cross-functional strategy and execution
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and leverage high performing, highly experienced cross-functional teams through complex decisions to deliver results consistently.
+ Strong understanding of the current and evolving global/worldwide market access, pricing, and HEOR environments for neuroscience and related products
+ Comprehensive knowledge of the drug development & commercialization process, market-based drug assessment, approval and reimbursement methodologies, global reimbursement environmental factors, and an in-depth understanding of regulatory bodies, payers, providers, and channel intermediaries in key markets
+ Demonstrated ability to efficiently craft and accurately articulate access strategy to senior, cross functional, stakeholders with potentially limited understanding of the access environment
+ Proven ability to identify key product advantages in the context of market requirements and provide clear guidance for developing effective and timely value strategies for individual assets as well as the full portfolio
+ Demonstrated ability to make decisions quickly with limited and/or changing information.
+ Ability to travel to international congresses and BMS internal meetings

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $ 210,600 to $255,200, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
