A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Supplier Quality Manufacturing Engineer, your day will be filled

with engaging interactions with suppliers, analyzing data, and driving

continuous improvement across the supply chain. You’ll collaborate with

cross-functional teams to maintain the highest quality standards, lead supplier

qualifications, and resolve non-conformance issues – all while developing

strong working relationships with global suppliers to support business

continuity and product excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

+ Lead product and process qualification (PPQ) activities at supplier sites.

+ Manage and resolve quality issues related to non-conforming suppliercomponents identified at Siemens Energy Aero-Derivative Gas Turbine (AGT)facilities, warehouses, or customer locations.

+ Oversee root cause investigations and corrective actions using structuredproblem-solving techniques.

+ Audit existing and potential suppliers to assess manufacturing capabilityand ensure robust quality systems are in place.

+ Drive supplier development to meet current and future product quality andmanufacturing requirements, investigate and address manufacturing capabilityissues within the supply chain to maintain delivery performance and mitigaterisks.

+ Identify and support cost reduction opportunities in partnership with theStrategic Business and Supply Chain teams. Contribute to product manufacturingimprovement through regular on-site presence at supplier locations

What You Bring

+ Bachelor’s degree in quality, mechanical, electrical engineering orin a related field.

+ Experience working with or within manufacturing facilities and oncritical components (e.g. discs, shafts, complex assemblies).

+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality managementsystems (e.g. ISO9001), and inspection methodologies.

+ Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, including GeometricDimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams to ensurecomponent manufacturability. Proven ability to manage multiple complexinvestigations and supplier quality issues from start to finish.

+ Experience with root cause analysis tools and quality improvementmethodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa. Familiarity with SAP or similarERP systems is beneficial.

+ You will be required to travel up to 50% to supplier/vendor sites
