Senior Cloud Developer – Full Stack (Angular/React + Java/Python) - Senior Associate - 64403782

About the role:

As a Senior Developer, you will make an impact by architecting and developing scalable cloud-based software solutions using Angular/React, Java, Python, and microservices technologies. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant team, collaborating with product owners, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver front-end and API-driven applications deployed on Azure or GCP.

In this role, you will:

+ Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and modern design patterns.

+ Apply strategic thinking to define long-term technical vision and implementation plans, with thoughtful evaluation of decisions across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.

+ Break down complex systems into manageable components through analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, business stakeholders, architecture, security, and engineering teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

+ Mentor junior developers, fostering growth and building technical expertise across the team.

+ Design and implement sophisticated cloud-native software solutions, including APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and real-time streaming infrastructure

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Richardson, TX. What you need to have to be considered:

+ Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in front-end development with advanced proficiency in Angular or React frameworks.

+ Proven expertise in designing and developing software solutions using modern programming languages such as Java or Python, with a strong foundation in API and microservices architecture.

+ Solid understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases.

+ Demonstrated success leading software development projects, including setting goals, tracking milestones, and managing stakeholder communication

+ Proficiency in Java/J2EE, cloud platforms, and modern frontend technologies.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $102,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
