Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8+ years** **of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake Tasks Snowflake, Snowpark, Streams, SnowSQL, Snowpipe and Python. This hybrid role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that drive our company's success.

Responsibilities

Develop test and maintain ETL pipelines using Snowflake and Python.

Design and implement data pipeline solutions using Snowflake and Python.

Manage code repositories and perform code check-ins using GitLab.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Python applications and Snowflake data warehousing and perform validation testing.

Ensure code quality and maintain best practices for version control.

Required Qualifications

Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing.

Proven experience as a Python Developer.

Proficiency in using GitLab for version control and code check-ins.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Informatica is a plus.

Experience with other data warehousing solutions and ETL tools.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Aug 30, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $84,000 - $123,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
