The Compensation Process & Operations Analyst serves as a lead support for Advance Compensation Workday and other related tasks to ensure optimization of the HR compensation process cycles end to end. Key responsibilities include merit and incentive administration set up including eligibility in collaboration with the Enterprise Business Solution Team, EIB file creations, testing and validation of process, documentation of compensation’s Workday functionality and maintenance of workday information specific to the Compensation function etc.
1. Supports the maintenance and testing of the Compensation modules in the Workday platform by partnering with central IT in the review of compensation process flows, configuration, testing and implementation of efficient solutions.2. Works with HRCS staff on the implementation of premium pay components for requested job profiles.3. Demonstrate strong stakeholder management to achieve project objectives4. Support innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods and assets5. Documents Workday compensation process flows for compensation related requests.6. Develops and maintain a repository for Workday business processes, custom reports, and analytics to support compensation-related functions for the compensation team.7. Assists with the troubleshooting of Workday issues within the Compensation function, and resolve problems related to Workday functionality, data integrity, and system integrations with the EBS team.8. Stays abreast of new Workday features and enhancements, evaluating their potential impact on the compensation function and making recommendations for their adoption. Responsible for being knowledgeable regarding upcoming product releases, reviewing release notes, assessing new features, understanding the impacts on business processes and basic changes in functionality. Maintains a complete understanding of the system to act as a liaison between IT and the Compensation function.9. Contributes to the development and maintenance of Workday business processes, custom reports, and analytics to support functional areas.10. Monitors and tracks progress on EBS Workday requests and collaborates and supports Director with escalated issues.11. Collaborates with the Compensation team to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Workday.12. Provides end-user support and training, ensuring compensation team and managers are equipped to effectively use Workday and its features.13. Participates in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for Workday updates, enhancements, and integrations.14. Reviews compensation data in the system for integrity and compliance.15. Provides input on behalf of the Compensation Team, to assist in the design and implementation of new functionality.16. Recommends, implements, and plans for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system.17. Creates EIB files and work with EBS team to upload changes, ensuring all transactions were successfully completed. Works with Compensation team to address any rejected transactions.18. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into Workday system configurations and workflows.19. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.and assets

Bachelor's Degree in related field

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
+ Advance Compensation Workday experience
+ Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, reports and correspondence.
+ Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
+ Skill in collecting, organizing and analyzing data
+ Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
+ Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
+ Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
+ Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
