We are looking for a dedicated compassionate care professional to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Position Overview: Always Best Care of Fairfax is seeking a compassionate and culturally attuned Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support a new client. This part-time weekend position involves 6-hour shifts between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, providing personalized, in-home care for a client with mobility challenges. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Farsi and have experience or familiarity with Afghan cuisine, as these are strongly preferred by the client. Primary Responsibilities: * Assist with ambulation and mobility, including the use of walking aids * Provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting * Plan and prepare nutritious meals, with a strong preference for authentic Afghan dishes * Run errands and provide transportation to appointments or outings using personal vehicle * Offer companionship and help maintain the client’s social and mental engagement Qualifications: * PCA, HHA, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with an active license in the state of Virginia * Experience supporting clients with mobility limitations * Fluency in Farsi strongly preferred * Familiarity with or ability to cook Afghan cuisine strongly preferred * Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle * Physically able to assist with transfers and mobility support * Compassionate, dependable, and culturally sensitive Caregiver Benefits: * Competitive pay * Paid training and ongoing professional development * Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile for client-related travel Join our team and make a meaningful difference in someone’s life!
