Associate Product Development Manager Job Summary:
This individual should be recognized as a future leader in the organization, with the ability to work with, lead and earn respect from all functions. This individual may manage one specific brand or work on multiple brands and products, depending on the business need. They will be responsible for everyday business results and the continued development of their product lines. This person should have relevant experience working with cross functional teams in a marketing or product development role.
Associate Product Development Manager -
**Location:** Earth City, MO
**Job Type:** Full-Time
**Remote:** Hybrid position - Monday and Friday remote and Tuesday thru Thursday in the office
**Salary:** $90K+ (w/bonus potential) based on experience and credentials

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The Associate Product Manager will have the responsibility for both the long-term and short-term growth and profitability of their product lines. They should achieve these goals through various tactics in their skill sets ranging from cost optimization, bringing innovation to market, and by analyzing data and determining the best path forwards for the business.
+ Participate in and support the annual planning process which includes financial and business analysis, consumer planning, leading agency partners and P&L development including sales and profit objectives; ensure brand budgets including advertising & promotional expenditures are accurate and appropriate.
+ Support in developing overall vision for product pipeline, development strategies and product portfolio mix.
+ Support directing consumer research strategies and execute in partnership with Consumer Insights.
+ Support in development of compelling stories working with Sales and Consumer Insights teams in the development and execution of high-quality, insights-driven, retailer or channel specific solutions that link to brand strategies.
+ Serve as the “voice” for assigned brand portfolio for all key constituencies, including sales, R&D, regulatory, operations and finance.
+ Understand and lead product management and development from inception to discontinuance for assigned products.
+ Assists in the identification, evaluation, and development of business building ideas; works with other business unit team members to execute the plans that meet investment criteria.
+ Work to gain alignment and buy-in from cross functional business partners on key initiatives.
+ Provide timely and comprehensive analysis of objectives, execution, and future planning implications. Analyze business performance (shipment and consumption) to gauge performance against brand objectives; derive key implications to help inform/evolve our path forward. Develop implications and program recommendations.
+ Comply with all company policies and procedures.
+ Other duties as assigned.
+ Must understand and demonstrate safe work practices to ensure a safe work environment.
Education and Experience Profile
+ Bachelor's degree required, MBA strongly preferred.
+ 3-5 years of relevant work experience with a strong track record of increasing responsibility.
+ Has assisted in new product development process from concept inception through market introduction.
+ Has assisted in the development and execution of annual marketing plans, preferably including advertising, media and consumer promotion planning.
+ Has assisted in the development of new and existing item pricing strategies and product P&Ls
+ Has a solid grasp on consumer research methodologies.
+ Has participated in key account sales presentations and has demonstrated strengths in working closely with sales and other functional departments.

Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Hybrid schedule: Monday and Friday remote and Tuesday - Thursday in the office.

**Pay Details:** $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
