**Adecco Search is ACCTIVELY recruiting for a** highly motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at a leading Mechanical and HVAC Design Engineering firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the construction, engineering, or HVAC industries, with the ability to build relationships with clients, generate new business, and support the growth of the company’s portfolio.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and promoting the firm’s engineering services, which include design, consulting, and project management for mechanical systems and HVAC installations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Lead Generation and Prospecting:**
2. Identify and target potential clients, including building owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and developers within the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
3. Use various methods (cold calling, networking, trade shows, email campaigns, and referrals) to generate leads and prospects.
4. Research and identify new opportunities for the firm’s HVAC and mechanical design services.
5. **Client Relationship Management:**
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
7. Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions through the firm’s services.
8. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle, from initial inquiry to project completion.
9. **Sales Presentations and Proposals:**
10. Present the company’s engineering and design services to potential clients through in-person or virtual meetings.
11. Develop and deliver customized proposals, including cost estimates, project timelines, and design specifications for mechanical and HVAC solutions.
12. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring win-win outcomes that align with company objectives.
13. **Project Coordination and Follow-up:**
14. Coordinate with the engineering and design teams to ensure smooth project handovers and ongoing client support.
15. Follow up on sales leads and ensure timely response to client inquiries.
16. Provide ongoing updates to clients during the design and project phases to maintain client trust and ensure satisfaction.
17. **Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:**
18. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings within the mechanical, HVAC, and design engineering space.
19. Utilize this information to position the company’s offerings effectively and differentiate services.
20. Report market trends and feedback to the sales and management teams to inform future strategy.
21. **Sales Reporting and CRM:**
22. Use CRM software to track and manage sales leads, client interactions, and progress.
23. Regularly update management with reports on sales activities, goals, and project statuses.
24. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and performance metrics.
25. **Collaboration and Team Support:**
26. Collaborate closely with the engineering, design, and project management teams to ensure alignment between sales and delivery.
27. Attend internal meetings, industry events, and training to stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
+ **Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
+ **Experience:**
+ 3-5 years of proven experience in sales within the mechanical engineering, HVAC, or construction design industries.
+ A track record of success in generating leads, closing sales, and achieving revenue targets.
+ Previous experience selling technical services (e.g., HVAC, mechanical design, construction) is highly desirable.
+ **Skills & Competencies:**
+ Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical engineering principles, and the design/build process.
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
+ Strong negotiation and closing skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
+ Detail-oriented with an ability to anticipate client needs and provide tailored solutions.

**Pay Details:** $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
