    Job Summary:

    The PMO Analyst II plays a critical role in driving project execution and operational excellence across a portfolio of high-impact projects within a dynamic manufacturing or engineering organization. This role provides strategic project support, leads advanced reporting and analysis, enforces PMO standards, and champions continuous improvement efforts. Acting as a trusted advisor to program and project managers, the PMO Analyst II ensures data-driven decision-making, facilitates cross-functional communication, and supports governance through expert use of project management tools and methodologies. This role requires a high degree of business acumen, initiative, and the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.

    Essential Duties:

    Reporting & Performance Analysis:

    + Lead the creation and refinement of dashboards, KPIs, and executive scorecards to support portfolio visibility

    + Analyze program- and project-level performance trends, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations

    + Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and alignment across multiple projects and data systems

    + Automate and streamline reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve decision support

    Project Governance & Controls:

    + Facilitate governance routines, including meeting preparation, documentation, and issue tracking

    + Maintain oversight of PMO tools and templates, ensuring standardized application of governance policies

    + Support internal/external audits by coordinating project documentation and compliance materials

    + Reinforce adherence to change control, phase gate, and risk management processes

    Process Improvement & Tool Optimization:

    + Identify and lead improvements to PMO tools and systems (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint, Power BI, JIRA)

    + Standardize templates, workflows, and reporting formats to drive consistency and scalability

    + Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance PMO efficiency, usability, and stakeholder engagement

    Cross-Functional Coordination:

    + Serve as a liaison between the PMO and functional teams including engineering, construction, procurement, and operations

    + Align tracking, resourcing, and reporting practices across departments to support integrated project planning

    + Support identification and communication of cross-project risks, dependencies, and resourcing issues

    Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing:

    + Mentor PMO Analysts and support their development in reporting, data accuracy, and governance execution

    + Lead onboarding and training of new PMO team members and project stakeholders

    + Contribute to PMO knowledge management, documentation, and internal communications

    + No authority to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, reward, or discipline other employees

    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

    + To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for our employees’ protection, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. A respirator fit test will be required based on functional area.

    Qualifications

    Requirements - Required and/or Preferred:

    Education:

    + **Required:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    + **Preferred:** Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Project Management, Engineering Management, or Data Analytics) or formal training/certification in project management or portfolio reporting

    Essential Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of experience in a PMO, project analyst, or program coordination role, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or construction

    + Advanced proficiency in tools such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, and project tracking platforms (e.g., JIRA, MS Project)

    + Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports; skilled in data analysis and presenting insights

    + Proven ability to support governance frameworks, manage project artifacts, and facilitate structured meetings

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership

    + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic environment

    + Experience leading process improvements, standardizing documentation, and mentoring junior team members

    + Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with portfolio-level reporting, resource planning, or forecasting

    + Familiarity with PMI, Agile, or hybrid project management methodologies and tools

    + Background in audit support, compliance documentation, or governance processes

    + Knowledge of lithium-ion battery manufacturing or other high-volume production environments

    + Experience collaborating across time zones and cross-functional teams

    + Commitment to continuous improvement and PMO capability development

    + Alignment to Panasonic’s seven (7) core principles (contribution to society, fairness and honesty, cooperation and team spirit, untiring effort for improvement, courtesy and humility, adaptability, gratitude)

    Preferred Certification(s):

    + Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)

    + Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement certification

    + Smartsheet Product Certification or Power BI Analyst Associate
