    Job Description

    The Financial Analyst role is designed for individuals who possess a strong ability to gather and analyze financial information. The primary functions include conducting quantitative analyses that affect investment programs of both public and private institutions. This position requires the analyst to effectively communicate financial information to clients through detailed reports and presentations.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble spreadsheets and create charts and graphs to illustrate technical reports.

    + Analyze financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions for investment decisions.

    + Interpret data affecting investment programs, including price, yield stability, and future trends in investment risks.

    + Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and entire industries.

    + Support with invoice reviews and troubleshooting reports in Google Sheets and Anaplan.

    + Raise and maintain purchase orders and conduct ad-hoc analysis.

    Essential Skills

    + Verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and critical thinking.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    + Proficiency in analyzing business trends and projecting future revenues and expenses.

    + Understanding of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and financial data reporting.

    + Knowledge of federal, state, and company accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.

    + Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other related financial software.

    + Financial Data Analysis with Excel and Google Sheets.

    + Budgeting and Forecasting abilities.

    + Reporting and Financial Modeling skills.

    + SQL querying expertise.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required; an advanced degree is preferred.

    + Experience with Anaplan is advantageous.

    + 4-5 years of experience in financial accounting roles.

    Work Environment

    The position is 100% onsite in Sunnyvale, CA. The role supports Meta's GenAI work, offering continuous growth within the group. There is potential for extension and conversion based on performance. The work environment is dynamic and demands adherence to company policies, effective stress management, and respectful collaboration with colleagues.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
