This role is a hybrid position Some roles require an office while others may be done remotely. This position is considered hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Santa Barbara office, Boston office and/or Shanghai office locations.

This role is instrumental in advancing Sonos’s mission to deliver exceptional sound experiences by ensuring a resilient, flexible, efficient, and customer-centric global logistics network. With direct leadership over a team of 10+ professionals and responsibility for supporting $1.5B in revenue across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas, this leader drives end-to-end logistics operations including transportation, fulfillment, and trade compliance. Through enterprise-wide cost and network optimization, AI-driven supply chain technologies, and innovative automation, this role significantly enhances delivery performance, NPI readiness, and overall customer satisfaction. By navigating complex trade landscapes and mentoring future leaders, this function ensures that Sonos remains agile, globally competitive, and ready to scale in a dynamic market.
What You’ll Do
+ Lead the global distribution network strategy and operations to support Sonos’s revenue across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
+ Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics, including strategic carrier selection, performance management, global expansion, distribution strategy and cost optimization. Oversee global fulfillment, transportation, customs, and trade compliance to ensure seamless product flow and regulatory adherence.
+ Direct the global reverse logistics and RMA operations to develop and drive short term and long term strategies, driving improvements in recovery value, efficiency, and customer experience. Build and mentor a high-performing international team of logistics professionals, fostering collaboration and leadership development across regions.
+ Identify and implement AI-driven supply chain technologies to improve operational efficiency, network visibility, and decision-making capabilities. Design and execute logistics automation strategies to enhance throughput and scalability during peak periods and product launches.
+ Partner cross-functionally with product, finance, and commercial teams to align logistics capabilities with business objectives and customer expectations.
+ Candidates must have the flexibility and availability to travel up to 30% within the US, Asia and Europe.
What You’ll Need
Basic Qualifications
+ 7–10 years of leadership experience managing global logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and reverse logistics.
+ Proven track record working in a consumer electronics or similar industry with a complex, global logistics network.
+ Experience managing global distribution centers and optimizing end-to-end fulfillment strategies.
+ Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams across EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions.
+ Proven success in leading teams with empathy, clarity, and accountability, embodying a “be the manager you want to have” mindset to inspire trust, performance, and growth.
+ Strong expertise in international trade compliance, customs, and regional regulatory requirements.
+ Proven ability to drive cost optimization, implement logistics automation, and deploy AI-driven supply chain technologies.
+ Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and align logistics strategies with broader business objectives.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
+ Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience integrating AI-driven modeling tools for network optimization, real-time visibility, and predictive analytics.
+ Familiarity with automated freight audit and payment systems to streamline invoice validation and cost control.
+ Demonstrated success in developing and executing long-term forward and reverse logistics strategies aligned with global business objectives.
+ Broader supply chain experience beyond logistics, including sourcing, planning, or manufacturing, is highly desirable.
+ Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving technology transformation and process improvement.
+ Strong executive communication skills and experience presenting logistics performance and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
+ Deep understanding of global logistics trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
+ Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification is a plus.

The base pay range for this role based off geographic location is:
$156,000 and $194,500
The specific pay offered will depend on the candidate’s geographic location, as well as qualifications and experience. We apply geographic pay differentials based on the cost of labor in the market. Employees in high-cost locations may be compensated at the upper end of the range, while those in medium or low cost markets may be compensated at the lower end of the range. Your recruiter can provide more details about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
