    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add a **Staff Project Management** position / Integration and Staffing position. The candidate should be a self-starter and will support programmatic, integration and staffing solutions at multiple echelons throughout a program organized around an Integrated Product Team construct.

     

    This position will be sourced out of the Program Management organization and can be located in **Rancho Bernardo, El Segundo, or Palmdale, CA** .

     

    Roles and Responsibilities

     

    - Collaborate with IPTs and Functional Engineering Homerooms to understand staffing needs and align resources accordingly.

     

    - Manage and optimize staffing tools and resources to facilitate efficient personnel allocation.

     

    - Develop and maintain staffing plans, ensuring alignment with program objectives and timelines.

     

    - Monitor staffing metrics and provide regular updates to the Staffing Manager and program leadership.

     

    - Facilitate communication between teams to ensure seamless integration of staffing efforts across the program.

     

    - Support the development and implementation of strategies for talent acquisition and retention within the program.

     

    - Assist in the preparation of staffing reports and presentations for program reviews and audits.

     

    The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. The preferred schedule is a 9-80 schedule; however, a 4-10 schedule will be considered. Occasional travel may be required.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience.

    + Microsoft Office skills (Power Point, Word, Excel)

    + Experience with staffing tools and resources management

    + Active in-Scope, DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Current applicable SAP access.

    + Project integration experience

    + Experience in SCIF environments

    + Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, and/or Jira

    + Proven leadership abilities to manage, coordinate, and oversee multi-disciplinary teams located in numerous geographical locations.

    + Must be highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams.

    + Demonstrated ability to use databases efficiently to gather data and analyze reports.

    + Able to operate in a fluid and dynamic environment.

     

    Salary Range: $141,400.00 - $212,000.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
