    Job Title: Dispatcher

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide our customers with the best service experience from the initial phone call through the completion of the service call. Maintaining good communication and relationships with our technicians through understanding and empathy is crucial.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive incoming service requests for HVAC service.

    + Create work orders and schedule calls.

    + Review after-hours calls, contacting and scheduling appropriately.

    + Respond to online inquiries.

    + Monitor the info email for service requests and other requests, passing them along to the appropriate person.

    + Dispatch technicians to ensure the right tech is matched with the right job.

    + Perform follow-up calls as needed.

    + Distribute after-action items to the appropriate person, such as warranty calls or invoicing that needs to be done.

    + Review and schedule commercial and residential maintenance as needed, ensuring obligations to customers are fulfilled.

    + Complete other duties as assigned by management.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in dispatch for a services-based company, preferably in a trades company (i.e HVAC, plumbing, construction)

    + Excellent customer service and phone skills.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Positive communication between managers, coworkers, and customers.

    + Ability to maximize schedules to meet customer needs and company profitability.

    + Focus on the HVAC side of the business.

    Work Environment

    The role involves working closely with both customers and technicians to ensure smooth operations. The environment is dynamic, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Dress code is professional, suitable for an office setting. Flexibility in working hours may be needed to accommodate after-hours calls.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
