    A Lead Caregiver's responsibilities typically include direct caregiving duties, mentoring and training other caregivers, and potentially some administrative tasks related to client care. They provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, offer companionship, and may also be involved in opening new client cases, handling complex situations, and ensuring care standards are met.    Detailed Responsibilities: * Direct Caregiving: This includes assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, bathing, and mobility, as well as providing companionship, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.    * Mentoring and Training: Lead Caregivers play a crucial role in onboarding, training, and mentoring new caregivers, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and the specific needs of clients.    Administrative Tasks: They may be involved in client admissions, conducting quality assurance visits, and ensuring that care services are delivered according to agency standards and policies.    Familiar with Wellsky, Hierology, Docusign, Onboarding(HR), Orientation of caregivers, Care Academy, internet, marketing & Outlook for email   Supervisory Role: Lead Caregivers may oversee the work of other caregivers, address any concerns or issues, and act as a liaison between the care team and office staff or supervisors.    Emergency Response: They may be the first point of contact in emergency situations and be responsible for coordinating care appropriately.    Medication Reminder Client may need medical reminder   Client Advocacy: Lead Caregivers act as advocates for their clients, connecting them with health and social services and supporting their wellness goals.   Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensuring a safe and clean environment for both clients and other caregivers.    Communication and Reporting: Maintaining accurate documentation, reporting any changes in the client's condition, and communicating effectively with the care team and supervisors.
