All employees are expected to work primarily physically within the State of Maryland.*/ *_Primary Duties_* /Social Worker:/Social Worker works under the supervision of a Social Worker (LCSW-C). * Assess risk by screening and interviewing clients. Identify and construct service plans that best meet the clients needs, and determine best resources available. * Develop plans by identifying programs and services available for a variety client issues dealing with challenges, change, and crisis. * Maintain case history records and document client(s) progress. May perform chart reviews and generates notes on evaluations, therapy sessions, reports and other accountability measures. * Counsel individuals, groups, families, or communities regarding issues including mental health, poverty, unemployment, substance abuse, physical abuse, rehabilitation, social adjustment, child care, and/or medical care in accordance with licensure. * Provide training, guidance, and support to others preparing for use of resources. * Performs other duties as assigned. /Senior Social Worker:/Senior Social Worker works under the supervision of a Social Worker (LCSW-C) and may have responsibility for program elements. * Assess risk by screening and interviewing clients. Identify and construct service plans that best meet the client needs, and determine best resources available. * Develop plans by identifying programs and services available for a variety client issues dealing with challenges, change, and crisis. May have responsibility for program elements. * Maintain case history records and document client(s) progress. May perform chart reviews and generates notes on evaluations, therapy sessions, reports and other accountability measures. * Counsel individuals, groups, families, or communities regarding issues including mental health, poverty, unemployment, substance abuse, physical abuse, rehabilitation, social adjustment, child care, and/or medical care in accordance with licensure. * Provide training, guidance, and support to others preparing for use of resources. * May supervise other social workers, interns, students, or employees in accordance with licensure. * Assist in development of policies, protocols, or procedures as requested. * May review and provide submission of authorized documentation for reimbursement. * Performs other duties as assigned. /Lead Social Work:/Lead Social Worker is responsible for a program or resources oversight. Lead Social Worker uses individualized plans to provide social services and apply the theories, knowledge, procedures, methods, and/or ethics derived from a formal educational program. * Assess risk by screening and interviewing clients. Identify and constructs service plans that best meet the client’s needs, and determine best resources available. * Develop plans by identifying programs and services available for a variety client issues dealing with challenges, change, and crisis. Responsibility for program elements. * Maintain case history records and document client(s) progress. May perform chart reviews and generates notes on evaluations, therapy sessions, reports and other accountability measures. * Counsel and diagnose individuals, groups, families, or communities regarding issues including mental health, poverty, unemployment, substance abuse, physical abuse, rehabilitation, social adjustment, childcare, and/or medical care in accordance with licensure. * Provide training, guidance, and support to others preparing for use of resources. * Leads a social services program, project, or team management. * Assist in development of policies, protocols, or procedures as requested. * Responsible for review and submission of authorized documentation for reimbursement. * Performs other duties as assigned. /*Social Worker*/ Masters Degree in Social Work. Licensed Master Social Work - (LMSW) in the State of Maryland. No substitution of experience for minimum education requirement. /*Social Worker, Senior*/ Masters Degree in Social Work. One (1) year related social worker experience with licensure as either LMSW, LCSW or LCSW-C in related area of treatment including responsibility for training, work coordination, and monitoring the work of others. State of Maryland licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C). No substitution of experience for minimum education requirement. /*Social Worker, Lead*/ Masters Degree in Social Work. Two (2) years post-licensure (LCSW-C) experience related experience in area of treatment including responsibility for training, work coordination, and monitoring the work of others. State of Maryland Board Approval as a designated supervisor. Licensed as (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland. No substitution of experience for minimum education requirement. *_Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities_* Knowledge of position requirements. Knowledge of all applicable requirements, regulations, and laws. Skill in effective use of applicable technology/systems. Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently.
