    Job Summary:

    SUNY Upstate Pediatric Team is in search of a highly motivated Team Member to be the Project Manager for the Child Abuse Medical Provider Program and the Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship Coordinator. This position holds a dual, interrelated role as a as well as providing administrative support to the Division of Child Abuse Pediatrics.

     

    The Child Abuse Medical Provider Program (CHAMP) Program Project Manager provides operational support for CHAMP, a statewide initiative dedicated to improving the medical response to child abuse and neglect.

     

    This position serves as the central point of contact for fellows, faculty, institutional GME office, and external agencies including the ACGME, ABP, NRMP and AAMC ERAS and GME Track.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Coordinating educational programming, tracking participant engagement, managing grant deliverables, and serving as the primary information resource for child abuse medical professionals across New York State.

    + Providing comprehensive administrative support for the ACGME-accredited SUNY Upstate Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship Program.

    + Critical role in ensuring program compliance with institutional and ACGME requirements, managing fellowship operations, and supporting the educational mission of the program.

    + Coordination of learner schedules including medical students, residents, and fellows along with CHAMP mentees.

    + Provide administrative support including but not limited to typing correspondence, maintaining appointment calendars, assist with travel arrangements and facilitating reimbursement.

    + Aiding with tracking and completion of departmental/institutional requirements for licensure, CME, hospital credentialing, etc.; and other assigned duties.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in education, healthcare, other related administrative degree with 3-5 years of related experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Masters Degree in education, healthcare, other related administrative degree

    Work Days:

    Monday - Friday, Days
