    Research Assistant/Recruiter IEEM – Women’s Heart Health Lab – PRN

    **Work location:** Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

    **Work hours:** PRN; in-person; 24 hours per week Mon – Fri between 8am – 5pm

    Exercise Physiology Dept highlights:

    + Research Assistant/Recruiter in the Women’s Heart Health Lab of the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine (IEEM). Lab Website: https://www.texashealth.org/ieem/Research/Womens-Heart-Health-Laboratory

    + The focus of the Women’s Heart Health Lab is neural and non-neural control of blood pressure in women across the lifespan.

    + Research Assistant/Recruiter will recruit potential participants for ongoing studies in the lab and perform initial screening via phone or email to determine eligibility.

    + High degree of integrated teamwork with an engaged and supportive leadership team.

    Here’s What You Need

    • High School Diploma

    • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent College student in a scientific field of discipline Req

    • Bachelor's Degree Pref

    What You Will Do

    • Research recruitment: Under the direction of the research associate or research project investigator coordinate subject recruitment, screening or participation as outlined in protocol and assist with research projects as assigned.

    • Explain study purpose and conduct initial interviews with participants. Recruit study participants and schedule interview.

    • Able to explain objectives, test procedures, and environmental conditions associated with research or clinical protocols to ensure proper subject enrollment and data collection
