Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role during patient visits, working alongside the dermatologist to ensure a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists.

Responsibilities

+ Room patients and document all vital information

+ Scribe information for the dermatologist

+ Draw blood and collect specimens

+ Clean and stock exam rooms

+ Schedule patient appointments

+ Perform triage and patient follow-up

Essential Skills

+ Medical Assisting

+ Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

+ Rooming patients

+ Experience with Epic software

+ Procedure assistance in a dermatology setting

+ 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in Dermatology, Specialty Practice, or as a procedure assistant is preferred

+ Flexibility to work in multiple sites, particularly in fast-paced specialty clinics

+ Ability to support multiple providers

+ Consideration for LPN or RN candidates interested in the position

Work Environment

Work is conducted Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Appleton and Kaukuana clinics. Schedules are typically known 4-6 weeks in advance, and flexibility is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.
