    Description

    **Full-Time: 5 Days in Office** This role is responsible for managing and developing global environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance. Core Responsibilities: EHS Program Leadership: Manage global EHS programs and develop new initiatives to enhance compliance and performance. SDS & Shipping Compliance: Oversee the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Management System, including global labeling and DOT shipping requirements. Regulatory Compliance & Liaison: Interface with regulatory agencies and insurance providers; manage wastewater permitting and air monitoring programs. Facility Oversight: Conduct compliance inspections, safety audits, and hazard analyses; ensure proper waste management and disposal. Training & Communication: Deliver EHS training to employees, contractors, and customers; distribute regulatory updates and maintain documentation. Risk & Incident Management: Identify and mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks; support worker’s compensation in collaboration with HR. Cross-Functional Support: Assist the EHS Coordinator and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on capital projects and compliance matters. Global Regulatory Awareness: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS laws across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Europe. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain environmental records and submit reports to appropriate agencies; create and update EHS procedures and programs. Operational Flexibility: Perform a variety of tasks that may shift on short notice, including contractor coordination and supply management.

    Must Haves: - Bachelors Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related Field - Training/Experience in environmental, health and safety issues - Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. - Management/Leadership Experience - Ideally 5 years in an EHS role, chemical manufacturing experience being a plus Strengths that would be great for the candidate to have are as follows: reliability, collaborative problem solving, willingness to learn or dig into a matter, and proficient in spreadsheets (capable of managing online databases). Nice to Haves: - Certifications: PE, CHMM (not required but a plus) **They are willing to supply training such as: DOT, IATA, 24 or 40-hr HAZWOPER**

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $39.00/hr.
