• What You’ll Be Doing
+ Break down complex plans, specs, and documentation into comprehensive, competitive estimates.
+ Cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best pricing.
+ Create quantity take-offs and detailed cost breakdowns using CSI divisions.
+ Factor in constructability, logistics, and scheduling impacts into every estimate.
+ Join pre-bid meetings, site walks, and client presentations with confidence and insight.
+ Partner with project teams to turn numbers into actionable budgets and guide execution.
+ Maintain and refine cost databases for smarter future estimates.
+ Spot risks and opportunities in every scope and pricing strategy.
+ Ensure full compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
What You Bring
+ 5+ years of estimating experience, ideally with healthcare, biotech, or clean room builds.
+ Deep understanding of construction methods, codes, and cost drivers.
+ Skilled in software like Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, ProEst, etc.
+ A sharp eye for details, timelines, and deliverables—plus stellar communication skills.
+ Ability to juggle multiple bids and deadlines while staying strategic and organized.
Bonus Skills
+ LEED, GMP, or similar regulatory familiarity.
+ Estimating experience across hospital renovations, biotech labs, clean rooms, and commercial spaces.
+ Knowledge of MEP systems and their cost/constructability impact.
+ Experience with design-build and CM-at-Risk models.
+ PMP certification a strong plus.
• Where You’ll Work
+ You’ll split time between our Brookfield HQ and project sites across Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven counties) and Poughkeepsie, NY.
+ Standard work hours: 7am–4pm (onsite).
Compensation & Perks
+ Salary Range: $150,000–$200,000/hr

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/hr.
