• Controls Technician (1st Shift)

    Actalent (Chicago, IL)


    + This is a consulting opportunity through Actalent, where you would be working onsite at a client location in Chicago’s West Loop. The project is long-term and full-time, with an indefinite duration, offering stability within a consulting capacity.

    + Repair and maintain complex electrical equipment, including automated machines, control panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems, and alarms.

    + Install electrical equipment with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot issues by replacing and repairing components and identifying/repairing defective control modules.

    + Perform complex wiring assignments and install power, light, electronic, and control circuits.

    + Provide technical assistance and mentorship to junior maintenance electricians.

    + Demonstrate computer proficiency in programming, particularly with PLCs systems.

    + Conduct PLC troubleshooting, analyze system failures, and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.

    + Shift: 1st.

    + Travel: None.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
