    Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician whose primary responsibility will be order fulfillment, accounting for 85% or more of the role. The position involves working in a fast-paced compounding pharmacy environment, focusing on creating custom-tailored dosage forms for both human and veterinary patients.

    Responsibilities

    + Fulfill orders by compounding prescriptions using various techniques such as weighing, mixing, grinding, levigating, and encapsulating.

    + Answer phones and assist customers in the will-call area.

    + Process and type prescriptions, and restock pharmacy supplies.

    + Perform cleaning tasks such as washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.

    + Prepare shipping labels and process payments using customers' credit cards.

    + Attend regular team meetings and assist lab supervisors and pharmacists with special requests.

    + Utilize physical effort for tasks such as lifting containers, standing for long periods, and using hands and arms for various compounding tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Oregon Pharmacy Technician certification or License required.

    + 1+ year of experience in any pharmacy setting.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Proven history of reliability and positive attendance.

    + Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Experience in customer service and pharmacy support.

    + Capability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

    + Strong work ethic with drive and motivation to meet performance metrics.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
