Job Title: RF EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a mid-career RF Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our team due to a recent retirement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering with specific experience in radio frequency design. Due to the nature of the defense industry, all work is meticulously documented, ensuring seamless transition and continuity despite the absence of the previous team member.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with various groups, demonstrating strong soft skills.

+ Work on the ALQ-188a, a pod used for training purposes, simulating enemy aircraft for troop practice.

+ Engage in RF design and simulation, contributing to mixed signal design within electrical engineering.

+ Operate in a fully cleared environment, adhering to security protocols and maintaining confidentiality.

+ Contribute to electronic warfare projects, leveraging RF engineering expertise.

Essential Skills

+ 5-10 years of experience in RF design and simulation.

+ Ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance, with the possibility to start on interim clearance.

+ Strong foundation in electrical engineering with RF experience.

+ U.S. Citizenship is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in digital signal processing and electronic warfare is a plus.

+ Desire to learn new skills and wear multiple hats in a dynamic environment.

+ Experience with mixed signal design is advantageous.

Work Environment

The position is located in a fully cleared environment, meaning no phones, windows, or devices emitting Wi-Fi signals are allowed. Work is conducted on-site under a Secret clearance. The role is based in the second, separate building of the DS group, where the longest-standing business unit operates. The facility supports advanced defense technology development in a highly secure setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
