Structural Designer – Build the Future with Us

Do you dream of shaping the skyline—one beam, bolt, and blueprint at a time? We’re looking for a forward-thinking Structural Designer to join our growing team of innovators. Here, your technical expertise meets creative challenges across custom homes, complex renovations, and unique specialty engineering projects. From your first site walk to final construction observation, you’ll play a vital role in bringing bold ideas to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Explore job sites to assess existing conditions and support precise, thoughtful design.

+ Execute structural analysis and develop solutions for:

+ Custom single-family homes

+ Structural repairs and renovations

+ Ground-up new builds

+ Specialty designs for steel fabricators

+ Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings that bring your designs to life.

+ Conduct in-construction inspections and phase observations to ensure integrity and quality.

+ Collaborate directly with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors—you’re the bridge between vision and reality.

What You Bring to the Table

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus.

+ 1–4 years of structural engineering experience.

+ Strong AutoCAD skills.

+ Design experience with:

+ Structural steel & cold-formed steel

+ Engineered lumber & masonry

+ Aluminum, concrete foundations & retaining walls

+ Solid experience with fieldwork and site observations.

+ Excellent communicator—clear, responsive, and team-oriented.

Bonus Skills That Impress

+ EIT certification (preferred)

+ Familiarity with tools like RISA 3D and RAM

+ Master’s degree in related field

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $48.00/hr.
