• Position Title: Senior Civil Engineer (Remote) Overview
We’re looking for a seasoned and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our innovative and expanding team. This fully remote role offers the chance to contribute to diverse civil engineering projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with deep technical knowledge, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional design solutions.
• Key Responsibilities
+ Lead civil engineering design efforts from initial concept through final construction documentation.
+ Develop detailed design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent software.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, project managers, and consultants to meet project objectives.
+ Execute grading, drainage, utility layout, and roadway design tasks.
+ Analyze and interpret survey data, geotechnical reports, and environmental documentation.
+ Ensure designs comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Provide mentorship and technical support to junior team members.
+ Participate in internal design reviews and quality assurance procedures.
+ Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently in a remote work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
+ 7+ years of experience in civil design, ideally within land development or infrastructure.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential; familiarity with MicroStation, GIS, or other design platforms is a plus.
+ Strong grasp of civil engineering principles, codes, and industry standards.
+ Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
+ Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr.
