Job Title: Software Test EngineerJob Description

The Software Test Engineer will develop design verification and production test systems for newly developed products, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements. The role involves performing technical, multi-disciplined tasks to enhance product quality and performance, including historical data analysis, test design, documentation, and implementation/validation of equipment and process changes.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and implement design verification and production test systems.

+ Analyze historical data to improve product quality and performance.

+ Design, document, and validate equipment and process changes.

+ Participate in Scrum meetings and collaborate in an open-space environment.

+ Engage in new product development and prototype testing.

+ Develop test stands from scratch using LabView and perform heavy programming.

+ Interface and calibrate products using LabView and Python.

+ Build and troubleshoot code for circuit evaluations.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in test engineering with LabVIEW programming.

+ LabView programming experience is a must-have from day one.

+ Familiarity with Python and recent use in programming.

+ Firmware and hardware testing knowledge.

+ Understanding of software testing and language programming.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ LabVIEW certifications such as CLD and CLA are preferred.

+ CTD and CTA certifications are a plus.

+ EE background with mechanical tinkering is preferred.

+ SW/AI background and CoPilot understanding is beneficial.

+ MATLAB and optical methodology knowledge are desirable but not required.

+ Test software knowledge like National Instruments LabView and TestStand.

Work Environment

The work environment is collaborative and requires 5x onsite presence in Loveland. It is an open space where team members actively participate in meetings and have downtime to focus on code and documentation. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
