PURPOSE:
Manages and implements security configurations for the TriZetto Facets healthcare administration platform. Responsible for defining and maintaining security roles, ensuring compliance with security policies, and optimizing system performance related to security. This role often involves collaboration with business teams, vendors, and other IT professionals. Assesses architecture and current system limitations, defines and designs system specifications, disaster recovery procedures and evaluates input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Administer and configure Facets security, including user roles, access groups, permissions, and audits. Support end-to-end role provisioning and deprovisioning processes across environments. Collaborate with compliance and governance teams to ensure HIPAA/CMS-aligned security practices.
+ Develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems, troubleshoots incidents to recover services and supports root cause analysisAutomates the installation and configuration of applications in development and productions environments. Maintain documentation and support internal audits or security reviews as needed.
+ Improve stakeholder satisfaction by ensuring transparency, predictability, and timely delivery of critical programs. Foster collaboration across teams to reduce silos, improve communication, and build delivery discipline. Streamline processes and reduce delivery bottlenecks.
+ Evaluates new systems by performing in-depth tests, including end-user reviews. Research software and related products to support recommendations and purchasing. Determines systems integration issues by evaluating components; developing and completing performance tests; analyzing test data; studying project requirements; analyzing user and potential user input; evaluating similar and related products and systems. Develop system automation and system integration of business processes.
+ Promote system reliability and business continuity by ensuring thorough testing, risk mitigation, and deployment readiness for all Facets related changes.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
**Education Level:** Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 8 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Licenses/Certifications:
+ SAFe Agilist, PMP
**Experience:** 8 years of IT experience, including 5+ years of experience with Trizetto Facets Security Administration. Strong understanding of Facets configuration and security modules. Experience working in healthcare payer environments. Strong knowledge of Facets application (including upgrades, extensions, and configurations). Proven experience leading complex system upgrades and transformations. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience of Agile/Scrum practices and tools like JIRA, MS Project, Confluence. Experience leading enterprise-level initiatives, system integrations, and modernization efforts. Deep understanding of healthcare payer systems, NetworX Pricer, custom extensions, EDI integration, claims, and membership workflows. Familiar with HIPAA, PHI handling, and compliance practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ PMP, SAFe, or CSM certification.
+ Understanding of data integration, API platforms, and claims/payment systems.
+ Prior experience managing vendor relationships and multi-track projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
+ Knowledge of programming languages and web-based technologies.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Ability to collaborate to solve technical problems across teams.
+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
+ Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
**Salary Range:** $113,256 - $224,93
