You as National Operations Manager will lead and develop people, mange existing and new customers by ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery, and driving continuous improvement in service quality and customer satisfaction. You will also manage resources, develop operational strategies, and collaborate with various teams to achieve business objectives. This position has the overall responsibility of the TLM financial health (P&L).
How you create impact
+ Leading day-to-day operations nationally, ensuring high performance and adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
+ Optimizing the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to meet operational needs
+ Developing and implementing robust strategies for managing vendors, ensuring service quality and cost control.
+ Identifying areas for improvement in operational processes and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
+ Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, timely delivery, and problem-solving
+ Providing guidance, support, and motivation the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
+ Monitoring and analyzing operational data to identify trends, track performance, and make data-driven decisions
+ Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to road transportation
+ Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and other departments.
+ Supporting business development efforts by showcasing operational capabilities and collaborating with sales teams
+ Overseeing the implementation and optimization of operational and reporting systems, including Transport Management Systems (TMS).
+ Responsible for the Branch P&L , understand and own costs and profit drivers for the branch and how that contributes to broader commercial success
+ Applies financial and risk assessment techniques to evaluate commercial opportunities
+ Generates new profit making initiatives while applying risk and return criteria and monitoring market developments
What we would like you to bring
+ Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
+ 5+years of experience in similar role from logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
+ Proven experience in People Managemnet and Customer Service
+ In-depth knowledge of road transportation operations, logistics best practices, and relevant regulations
+ Results-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
