    Misa Plumbing, a Union company, is seeking a Helper to join the team.

     

    This is a union position. B Division.

    + Hourly rate based on position in Union ($16.50 - $26.80/hour)

    Plumber Helper Responsibilities Include Assisting Journeyman with the Following:

    + Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipe systems, drains, ducts, and related fittings and fixtures for water, sewage, and drainage in plumbing systems

    + Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of water supply, waste disposal, and material needed

    + Installing gas appliances, dishwashers and water heaters, sinks and toilets, measures, cuts, bends, and threads pipes using hand and power tools or machines

    + Detecting faults in plumbing appliances and systems and diagnoses their causes

    + Other duties upon request

    Plumber Helper Qualifications :

    + OSHA 30

    + S12 – S13 Certificates Required

    + F60 – G60 Certificates Required

    + Must have a valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles

    Physical Requirements :

    + Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis

    + Prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching on a daily basis

    + Requires a full range of physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically-powered tools and plumbing equipment

    + Must be able to climb stairs frequently

    + Work is performed indoors and out-of-doors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards
