As a **Director, Engineering** here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the engineering function within the company. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to the engineering teams.
You'll work out of our Rosemont, IL or Houston, TX location on a [Hybrid, On-site, Remote] work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company's ability to drive innovation, deliver high-quality products, and achieve business objectives. Your strategic leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the company's success, reputation, and growth in the industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provide strategic direction and leadership to the **project** engineering function.
+ Oversee the **technical aspects of** planning, execution, and delivery of **modular equipment** projects.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.
+ **Lead a team of project engineers to ensure successful completion of technical project deliverables in accordance with the project budget, material quantities, and schedule.**
YOU MUST HAVE
+ **15** + years of experience in **project management** or engineering leadership roles.
+ **Demonstrated experience of leading multi-discipline engineering and design teams with modular or equipment projects in the Oil and Gas industry.**
+ **Experience managing engineering budgets on a project (work hours, material quantities, cost)**
+ **Industry knowledge of putting together multi-discipline engineering/design schedules for equipment projects.**
+ Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders in the **downstream Oil and Gas industry** .
+ Strong technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.
+ Proven track record of successful project execution and delivery for **downstream Oil and Gas projects** .
+ Excellent leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
+ Degree in relevant engineering discipline (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, chemical)
WE VALUE
+ **PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or PE license.**
+ Desired experience in engineering management and project delivery.
+ **EPC experience with modular equipment projects.**
+ **Construction / job site experience with installation of refining, petrochemical, or midstream Oil and Gas projects.**
+ Strong leadership and team management abilities.
+ Ability to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in the relevant engineering discipline.
