    CNC Mill Machinist Needed in Rockford! ($22-$24+ - Based on Experience)

     

    We’re seeking a detail-oriented NC Mill Machinist with expertise in 3- and 4-axis milling machines. This role involves setting up and operating CNC mills, interpreting blueprints, and occasionally performing manual machining.     Key Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate 3- and 4-axis CNC milling machines

    + Perform manual machining using drill presses, surface grinders, Bridgeport mills, and manual lathes

    + Read and interpret blueprints to machine parts and build tools (e.g., drills, taps, end mills)

    + Use edge finders and indicators for accurate setups

    + Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, and micrometers to ensure quality

    Essential Skills

    + Strong experience in CNC mill setup, especially horizontal milling

    + Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints

    + Familiarity with Fanuc controls and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

    + Skilled in using edge finders, indicators, and precision measuring tools

    + Experience machining materials from aluminum to mild steel

    + Manual machining experience is a plus

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in manual machining.

    + Capability to machine materials like aluminum through mild steel.

    Work Environment

    + Equipment includes 4 vertical 3-axis mills and 2 horizontal 4-axis mills

    + Standard hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
