Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing, and repairing mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. This role requires applying knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation. The technician provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing.
Responsibilities
+ Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.
+ Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
+ Advise operators on operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
+ Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
+ Perform preventive maintenance functions.
+ Communicate with the Maintenance Safety Supervisor.
+ Ensure all production equipment is maintained and running efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in maintenance technician roles.
+ Strong mechanical skills.
+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ Electrical skills, including 3-phase, 480V systems.
+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.
+ PLC troubleshooting expertise.
+ Electrical troubleshooting capabilities.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The shift is from 10:00pm to 6:00am, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
