Mold Technician-Night Shift-$26/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a Mold Technician who will safely and effectively perform mold and version changes according to the production schedule. The role involves performing preventive maintenance on molds, including lubricating, minor repairs, and identifying worn or damaged parts. The Mold Technician will troubleshoot and make repairs to machine components, set up molding machines and ancillary equipment related to the molding process, and work in a safe and efficient manner using all required personal protective and safety equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform mold and version changes as per the production schedule.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance on molds, including lubricating and minor repairs.
+ Identify and replace worn or damaged mold parts.
+ Troubleshoot and repair machine components.
+ Set up molding machines and related ancillary equipment.
+ Ensure safe and efficient work practices using required safety equipment and devices.
+ Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, promoting and sustaining CI, 5S, and STW activities.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude
+ 2-5 years of plastic molding experience

Work Environment
The role is based in a large, spacious manufacturing environment, with a hot plastic smell and loud noise levels. The work schedule follows a 2x2x3 pattern, with shifts from 5 AM to 5 PM and 5 PM to 5 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
