Job Title: Painter - Automated Paint Machine Monitor
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled painter to operate and monitor an automated paint machine. This role involves overseeing a conveying system that transports parts through an area with sprayers. The successful candidate will ensure accurate coating of materials and occasionally use a spray gun for touch-ups. Proficiency in color mixing and paint application is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor automated paint machine and ensure accurate coating of materials.
+ Use a spray gun to coat materials or touch up areas that are missed.
+ Mix paints accurately and track spray levels.
+ Monitor and maintain paint fill levels.
+ Assist with cleanup and maintenance of painting equipment.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of painting experience.
+ Experience in mixing paint and understanding color variants.
+ Ability to track and monitor levels effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency with painting equipment such as paint sprayers and booths.
+ Experience in industrial painting and paint preparation.

Work Environment
The work environment is open-aired, and employees work the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as needed. A 15-minute break is provided every two hours.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
