Job Title: Warehouse Specialist

Job Description

The Warehouse Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate shipments to our customers through activities such as distribution order picking, stocking, packaging, and other material handling and inventory control tasks. This position demands flexibility and a willingness to work across various warehouse operations, developing proficiency in advanced responsibilities and training others.

Responsibilities

+ Perform distribution order picking, stocking, and packaging.

+ Handle material and inventory control tasks.

+ Ensure timely and accurate shipments to customers.

+ Learn and perform tasks in other areas of warehouse operations.

+ Train others in warehouse operations.

+ Package and palletize orders.

+ Load and unload trucks.

+ Process stock transfers and material requests.

+ Replenish production and warehouse as directed.

+ Process physical and ERP goods movements and receipts.

+ Assist in returns processing and cycle counting activities.

+ Complete confirmations, backflushing, and work order goods receipts.

+ Label orders for shipment, including dangerous goods and international shipments.

+ Verify items picked for accuracy and condition.

+ Generate work orders and sales orders from ERP.

+ Assist in orientation and cross-training of Warehouse Associates.

+ Troubleshoot issues and escalate to warehouse leadership as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse operations.

+ Proficiency with RF scanners and pallet jacks.

+ Ability to perform all responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate.

+ Strong organizational and time management skills.

+ Attention to detail and accuracy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Certifications in handling dangerous goods.

+ Experience with ERP systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnsville, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
