Restoration Technician – Fire & Water Damage Recovery

**Location:** West Des Moines, IA | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

**Starting Pay:** $16 – $20/hour

**Job Overview:** We’re hiring a **Restoration Technician** to join a fast-paced team specializing in fire, water, and smoke damage recovery. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrive in environments where every day is different, this role offers meaningful work and long-term potential.

What You’ll Do:

+ Perform restoration services including water extraction, fire/smoke cleanup, and mold remediation

+ Clean and restore personal property, carpets, and structural surfaces

+ Pack and inventory contents from affected areas

+ Remove damaged materials and perform light demolition

+ Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment

+ Deodorize and sanitize spaces to meet health and safety standards

+ Maintain supplies, tools, and company vehicles

Requirements:

+ Strong work ethic and attention to detail

+ Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently

+ Customer service mindset with clear communication skills

+ Physical ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work in varied conditions

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
