Job Title: Building and Crane Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Building and Crane Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting cranes and other heavy machinery, as well as the upkeep and repair of building infrastructure to ensure a safe and functional environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cranes and heavy machinery both in the shop and in the field.

+ Lubricate parts, inspect components, and ensure proper functionality of machinery.

+ Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to assess crane conditions and identify issues.

+ Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

+ Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repair work.

+ Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure all work is performed safely.

+ Identify and resolve issues with building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

+ Conduct minor repairs throughout the facility, such as patching, painting, and replacing hardware.

+ Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and drainage.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and other components.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance.

+ Experience with motors, heavy equipment, machine maintenance, and crane service.

+ Familiarity with wiring, sprockets, chains, and lubrication.

+ Ability to operate and repair boom lifts and other machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in maintaining and repairing various equipment, tools, and specialized systems.

+ Ability to perform scheduled maintenance to prevent future problems and ensure optimal performance.

+ This role involves a 3-month training period on the 1st shift from 5:00am to 1:30pm, after which you will transition to the 2nd shift from 1:30pm to 10:00pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Carson, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
