    Job Title: Production Supervisor

    Job Description

    The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily operations in the wet paint and powder coating facility. This role ensures production goals are met while maintaining strict quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The supervisor will oversee a team of painters and support personnel, managing workflow according to the schedule and troubleshooting issues as they arise. This hands-on leadership position requires strong knowledge of industrial finishing processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise all daily operations of wet paint and powder coat lines, including personnel scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.

    + Ensure quality control standards are followed for all coated parts, performing inspections and resolving defects.

    + Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely movement of materials and completion of customer orders.

    + Lead, train, and evaluate paint line employees, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

    + Monitor inventory levels for paint, powder, and supplies, and ensure equipment is maintained and in good working order.

    + Enforce all safety procedures and PPE compliance in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.

    + Document production outputs, downtime, and labor metrics to support operational reporting.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a manufacturing production floor with exposure to powder, dust, and airborne particles. Conditions may be hot or cold depending on the season, and certain areas require hearing protection due to noise levels. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and hearing protection is mandatory. The production schedule is fast-paced with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Joseph, Missouri.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

     

    would be a perm position so all roles have benefits from the company

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Saint Joseph,MO.
