1st Shift: 7AM-4PM - Monday-Friday

Locations: Tipton & Iowa City, IA

Pay: $18-26/hr depending on experience!

Job Description

Looking for an inventory and parts clerk to help a growing warehouse keep up with supply and demand of new orders. Must be computer knowledgeable and proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Scale trucks, work directly with other employees as well as carriers/truckers, maintain a professional attitude with visitors, answer multi-line phones, perform data entry, reconcile scale tickets, be comfortable in Excel, and handle filing and alphabetizing.

Hard Skills

+ **Knowledge of Truck logistics and inbound/outboard coordinator a PLUS!**

• Communicate shipping issues back to the Project Managers and Plant Manager

• Work with shipping associates on the size of shipment and any special

packaging

• Work with production on scheduling shipping of outsourced parts

• Schedule trucks and drivers for deliveries

• Follow-up with drivers after deliveries to address any issues or concerns

• Update shipping board daily to reflect any additions or changes

• Review Fabsuite to ensure all shipping paperwork is up-to-date

• Approve and schedule outside trucking company to ship product

• Prioritize daily shipping tasks for yard associates

• Environmental reports for paint

• Work with VP of Operations to ensure SDS books are current

• Provide bookkeeper with information for POs for paint and paint supplies

• Work with PMs on paint specs given and information needed for QuickBooks PO

• Back up Production & Inventory Control tasks when necessary

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2+ years experience in a manufacturing setting coordinating with internal and external stakeholders

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
