Job Title: General Production Worker

Responsibilities

+ Handle raw materials to prepare for production.

+ Feed raw wire into the production line as required.

+ Understand and interpret specification sheets for machine setup.

+ Operate and troubleshoot basic machine issues during production.

+ Read and monitor the HMI touchscreen to ensure production quality.

+ Document all required in-process updates by hand.

+ Use overhead crane to move finished spools of wire.

+ Operate forklift to store finished products in the warehouse.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to work safely without constant supervision.

+ Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.

+ Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.

+ Open-mindedness to forklift training.

+ Strong tenure at previous employers.

+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding work orders in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction.

+ Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

+ Capability to work with hand tools and interpret blueprints.

The work environment is clean, though it can be loud and hot in certain areas. The facility is expanding, promising new technologies and growth. The role follows a traditional manufacturing setup and offers 1st and 3rd shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr.
