Job Description
As a Catheter Assembly Technician, you will work in a Research and Development environment, focusing on the assembly of catheters under a microscope. Your tasks will include completing sub-assemblies using small hand tools, documenting processes, conducting visual inspections, and final packaging. You will also be involved in short run builds, braiding, operating laser machines, and inspecting your own assemblies.
Essential Skills
+ 2-3 years of experience in medical device assembly, preferably catheter or very small part assembly.
+ Previous experience in manufacturing, performing visual inspections, and operating necessary assembly equipment.
+ Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
+ Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Willingness to work under a microscope throughout the day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in catheter assembly and guide wire work.
+ Familiarity with clean room environments.
+ Braiding and medical assembly expertise.

Work Environment
The facility is modern, clean, and well-maintained with a welcoming 'family' feel in the office space. The position is located in a clean room where clean room attire, including masks, gloves, hair nets, and smocks, is required. No makeup or jewelry is permitted in these areas. Work involves using microscopes, with scope work ranging from 10% to 50% of the day. The position operates on a 1st shift, from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
