    Materials Specialist – Hospital Supply Chain Operations

     

    About the Role

     

    Join a mission-driven team at the heart of hospital operations. As a Materials Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that critical medical supplies are delivered accurately and efficiently throughout the hospital. Your work directly supports patient care and hospital staff, making a meaningful impact every day.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Receive and inspect incoming freight at the hospital stockroom.

    + Accurately scan and stock inventory using handheld devices and ERP systems.

    + Pick, pack, and load supply orders for various hospital departments.

    + Deliver supply totes to designated wings, floors, and divisions within the hospital.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom environment.

    What You Bring

    + Experience in inventory control, stockroom operations, or materials handling.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems and handheld scanners for tracking and labeling.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

    + Previous experience in a hospital or sterile environment is a plus.

    + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-unionized setting.

    Work Environment

    + Based entirely within a hospital in NW Portland—no off-site deliveries.

    + Scrubs provided by the hospital.

    + Daily interaction with a diverse team including nurses, doctors, and support staff.

    + Initial training includes shadowing an experienced Materials Associate.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
